Inspired by Italian Opera Stage Art
In 1859, Un ballo in maschera (A Masked Ball) was first performed in Rome to great success. The work took the stage aesthetics of Italian opera to a new level, stylists and makeup artists of the crew were known as ‘masters of scenography’. They have unique looks ideas and skilled techniques, and have very strict requirements for the quality of cosmetics . During the world tour, the makeup artists collected the best local cosmetics to bring back to Italy.Then a brand new brand was born! To commemorate the legendary Un ballo in maschera (A Masked Ball), they named the brand “COSKING” after the king in the play.
